About Us

The Administrative Support Alliance of the University of New Mexico (ASA-UNM) is UNM's premier organization designed specifically for the 800-1,000 administrative support professionals at the University. The vision of ASA-UNM is to advance the institution's mission and values through service to university leadership, promotion of best practices among peers and fostering a community of collaboration between university offices and units.

With every day that passes ASA-UNM chapters are becoming more organized and members becoming more productive.

Members feedback indicates that administrative support professionals are reaping the benefits of the professional bridges they have built through networking ASA provides.

It is simple: by knowing their peers better the pipeline of communication and information-sharing has dramatically increased which has, in turn, benefited UNM leadership and departments.

We encourage administrative support personnel in all departments throughout the University of New Mexico, its colleges, branch campuses, and affiliated entities to become members of ASA.
